Pool training is the hands-on part of your beginner scuba certification path. This is where you practice scuba skills with an instructor in a controlled pool environment before moving on to open-water certification dives.
This is Step 2 of the Pro Dive beginner scuba training process. Students must complete Step 1 — Online Learning before attending pool training.
Each pool training schedule includes two required sessions.
Students must attend both listed sessions to complete pool training and move on to open-water certification dives.
Please review the dates and times carefully before booking. Your reservation is for the complete pool training schedule shown.
Pool training seats are limited, and each schedule is planned around instructor time, pool time, and class size.
Once a pool training schedule is booked, your seat is reserved for that specific schedule.
If you need a different schedule, please contact Pro Dive before booking to ask about private or semi-private training options.
If Pro Dive needs to cancel or change a session due to facility issue, safety concern, or another issue outside the student’s control, we will help you reschedule at no additional charge.
Required personal gear and equipment details are listed on our Lessons & Training page. If you are unsure what you need, call or text Pro Dive before booking and we’ll help you get set up correctly.
After successfully completing pool training, the next step is Step 3 — Open-Water Certification Dives, often called checkout dives in the scuba industry.
Pool training alone does not certify you to scuba dive. Certification is completed after successful open-water certification dives.
